Common Sense Capital Commodity Brokerage Benefits

OK - Lets skip all the hype. Most brokerages have nice web-sites (we like ours) and some have great marketing and salesmen.

What it all comes down to is:
CAn you and your broker WORK TOGETHER in order to help your account?

We invite you to call and talk with us, get to know a broker who will care about you and your account, and who will do all they can to help you achieve your goals.

The first major benefit of doing business with Common Sense Capital is the service.  Before you start trading you should have a complete understanding of the basics before you trade - The Common Sense Commodity course does a pretty good job of that. But after that, you MUST have a broker who has the desire to help you take that knowledge and apply it to real money trading. Your broker should be your partner in your trading business, or at least a very trusted advisor.

He/ She should:

  • Take whatever time is necessary to make sure that you understand what you are doing.
  • Take the time to help you learn.
  • Make sure that what you are doing is within YOUR business plan.
  • Help you keep on track to reach your goals.

A good broker is your partner, not a salesman calling you everyday (we promise not to do this) and trying to put you into a lot of trades that you don't understand and don't need to be in anyway to make a commission buck. A good broker will most likely talk you out of more than trades than not, and help you apply your knowledge of the markets in a disciplined fashion.

Obviously running brokerage costs money, as even brokers have families to feed and mortgages to pay.  However, trading should not cost you an arm and a leg, and you should be able to place a trade without having to worry about unreasonable commissions.  At Common Sense Capital, we offer a $45.00 round turn commission.  That means $22.50 to enter and $22.50 to exit a trade.

Our staff is both experienced in the industry as well as in the Common Sense way to trade.  All members of the Common Sense Capital Staff have been chosen not for their sales abilities, but for their experience in the industry, knowledge of the markets, and dedication to client service.

Kirk Kristian, senior broker and manager of the Utah office, has been involved in the futures and options industry for over a decade.  He has first hand knowledge of trading, and is committed to providing all CSC clients with top notch service and brokers who will meet the clients needs.

All members of the Common Sense Capital Staff have been trained in the Common Sense Commodities Course.

We believe that the combination of an experienced staff providing guidance, combined with reasonable commissions and a strong dedication to customer service, that Common Sense Capital will be able to meet a wide variety of traders needs.
