Kirk began in the futures industry under the tutelage of a former currency trader with the Bank of Montreal. Expanding upon his knowledge of the currency markets, he then began working for a cash grain dealer, building an intimate knowledge of the grains and agricultural commodities, and their technical behaviors over time.

Whether you are a one-lot or one hundred-lot trader, Kirk will take the time to discuss your goals for your account and help you to build a trading plan that suits your needs. Since he is a trader himself, Kirk understands the difficulties in trading the markets and uses his own experiences to help his clients.

Kirk is an accomplished musician, as well as an avid reader. He spends his spare time trying to fool trout with a fly rod and enjoying all the many natural attractions that Utah has to offer.

Ken Kristian has joined Common Sense Capital as the manager of our new branch office in Naples Florida. Ken is a graduate of the University of Colorado and has over 30 years experience in trading commodities. Ken began trading equities in high school and branched out to options and futures before he went to college. He started his professional career with Merrill Lynch in 1979 and has worked in New York, Toronto, Seattle, and Denver for E.F. Hutton, Dean Witter, and others. More recently, Ken was the CEO of Kristian Capital Management, Inc. from 1995 till 2002. Ken has presented hundreds of public seminars dealing specifically with the options and options on futures markets. Being a manager for other firms and as head of his own company, Ken has trained dozens of brokers and traders over the years. Ken's vast experience can be especially helpful to the new trader as he has worked with many individuals as they start their trading career. If you are an experienced trader and have come to expect great service and execution of your trades, he has the experience and know-how to to expedite any size trade.
